In this episode, Lance and Shay Rowbottom talk about how human beings adapt to our environment and get through any kind of situation life throws at us. Shay shared that being aware and getting over the victim mentality can help uplift ourselves and is a step forward in honoring our own selves. Lastly, Shay also discuss several techniques on how to make great videos to post on social media and shared through her experience on how to deal with haters.
Shay originally dropped out of college to pursue her aspirations of becoming a musician, and after years of struggling to make it she found herself dissatisfied with her progress in the entertainment industry. She came across an opportunity with her life and business partner, Luke Marlowe, to learn viral video editing for large blogs on Facebook. Shay now has her own marketing firm, Rowbottom Marketing, that helped dozens of brands generate significant revenue on social media and position themselves as experts in their industry.
