In this episode, Lance, Dennis, and Tanner discuss the trial and error process of entrepreneurship. He speaks on comparing entrepreneurship to his experience in the past and its current state. Dennis discusses the struggle that he has experienced starting on his business, and that the work is not the difficult part but it is how you deliver. Being able to deliver means being able to get the job done and to be able to execute with the two components which are: Reliability and Competence.
Dennis Yu is the CEO of Blitz Metrics, a digital marketing company which partners with schools to train young adults. He has spent over 1 million dollars on Facebook Ads and has helped managed enterprise clients such as the Golden State Warriors, Nike, and Rosetta Stone. He has spoken in 17 countries spanning 5 continents and has been featured in publications such as the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, LA Times, National Public Radio, Tech Crunch, Fox News, and CBS Evening News. You’re not strong enough by yourself, no matter how hard you hustle and you need other people to be on your team, to be on your court, to encourage you to give you advice, to help you see something that maybe you didn’t see at the time because you’re stuck in this hole somewhere.”
